  • Do you offer a consultation before the first session?

Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so we can discuss what you're hoping to achieve and ensure we're a good fit before you commit to an appointment.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please email or call to schedule your first appointment with me.

    Where are you located?

I offer in-person sessions at 750 Officers Row, Vancouver, WA, and am also available for convenient telehealth sessions.

    What are your session fees?

My fee for a standard 50-minute individual session is $175

  • Do you accept insurance?

Currently, Centered Path Counseling operates as a private pay practice. This allows me to keep our focus entirely on your individual care and therapeutic goals, rather than restrictive insurance requirements.

However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a detailed receipt, known as a superbill, for you to submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Please note that I am actively working through the process of becoming credentialed with major insurance companies and intend to accept insurance soon. Check back for updates on accepted plans!

  • How long does therapy last?

Therapy is always collaborative and tailored to your goals. Some clients achieve their goals in a few months, while others prefer ongoing support for long-term growth. We regularly check in to ensure we are meeting your needs.

What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)?

ACT is an action-oriented form of therapy that helps you create a rich, meaningful life while accepting the pain that inevitably comes with it. Instead of trying to eliminate difficult thoughts and feelings, we learn to shift your relationship with them so they stop controlling your behavior.

    What is Motivational Interviewing (MI)?

MI is a client-centered approach used to strengthen your personal motivation and commitment to a specific goal. If you feel stuck, ambivalent, or are having trouble following through on change, MI helps you clarify your "why" and move forward with purpose.

  • What kinds of issues do you help people with?

I support clients facing transitions, managing stress, addressing relationship challenges, navigating burnout, and overcoming feelings of being stuck, all with the goal of helping you connect with your personal values and take meaningful action.

Do you only work with parents?

No! I provide counseling to adults of any age. I have a strong interest in supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the parenting stage of life, but I welcome anyone seeking to define and build a more fulfilling life.
